Hi, my smart lg tv won’t turn on. I’ve tried changing the batteries on the remote nothing, then i tried unplugging and plugging it back nothing. I also tried to unplug hold the power button for 75 seconds and plug it in and when i pressed the power button on the tv it just stays on the red light the red light hasn’t even flinched. could someone tell me what’s wrong or how to fix it thanks.

Hi,
Here’s a composite image from the service manual for the TV that shows how to check if the problem is in the mainboard or the power board.

You will need to have a DMM (digital multimeter) and know how to use it safely when testing for voltage when lethal voltage is also on the same board, to find out which board is the problem. If you haven’t got a DMM (or know someone who has) then contact a reputable, professional TV repair service and ask for a quote
