Removing repeater function when reset button is not working

The repeaters second light just stays on.. I stuffed installation up on repeaters admin page and it hasent blinked or been picked up by the wifi router so the 30 sec on power and off power system didnt do anything it was connected till i did something wrong during configuration of repeater. The second light just stays on and no devices even pick the repeater up in conect to othdr networks any help would be appreciated please

Hi,

Please confirm the router's make and model number if not a Netgear WGR61v49?

Have you tried resetting the router back to its' factory default settings by using the reset button (usually operated by using a pin or straightened out paperclip being pushed into a pin hole) in the back of the router and starting again?
