Why is my New 3DS not charging my new battery?

I have bought a previously owned “New” 3DS White and it was working for a while. Now I cannot the battery even though I already plugged the system overnight (the system still has the orange led on all night). I tried buying a new battery and its still has the same problem. I tried those batteries to an another “New” 3DS, and it was charging with no problems. What is the cause of this? How can I fix this?

Options

clean the pogo sticks that touch the battery with 99% isopropyl/ contact cleaner or solvent as the old battery may had damaged the metal.

The battery is fully charged WHTE 3DS will turn on and the orange led indication will show when plugged to a charger. And also the blue led will show when is running. Once the battery is low , orange led will be blinking. I charge it overnight and still is blinking.

Basically I have 2 "New" 3DS systems with 1 charger, black and white. The WHITE 3DS will turn on ONLY IF the battery has been charged from black console. It will not charge the same battery on the WHITE 3DS even though I plugged it with the same charger I used to charge onto the other console.
