When i Drive An hour or 3 my cat overheats after an hour of driving, so i pull over and sit for about 30min add more coolant then finish my trip what is causing this to happen??

If you’re constantly adding coolant then it’s leaking somewhere. Do you have a puddle of coolant on the ground where you park the car? Can you see any leaks? Or does it seemingly disappear? If you can see visible leaks then it should be a relatively easy and hopefully inexpensive repair. But if it’s disappearing without any signs of a leak you may have a blown head gasket in which coolant is leaking into one of the cylinders. A reputable mechanic can diagnose it.

I can see where it’s leaking under the car and i also see its wet by the resivor and the resivor was boiling hot
