I have galaxy not 8 water resistant so i went to use it and snap at pool as i put it inside the water my phone network went off and the screen stop touching but once i use the s pen it will touch everything touchable..but is show well oo the screen and i use it with the pen to snap or type..but no network

So yes, some phones are advertise water resistant phone but too a degree they still can get water damaged, i work at a repair shop and have gotten many phones claimed to be water proof but they still ended up getting water damage. what most likely happen was that your cellular component on the phone got water damaged and if you tried to charge the phone it couldve shorted it. also the touch screen part, the lcd on the phone could have gotten water damage to it but since the pen works fine im not too sure why touch wouldnt work unless the pen doesnt go off of “touch” but instead is detected some other way.
