ipod 2nd gen had been accidently gone in the wash, and i left it in a bowl of rice for days and now it turns on a blank white screen and i can see a crack at the top of the screen. what do i need to do, and the phone has to be put on charge. in order for it to be turned on, will i need to replace my battery. and i havent tried keeping it on charge. please give me answers. thanks..

Here is a link to the ifixit water damage guide. Please remove the battery immediately to prevent further damage. Once you have completed the guide let us know what works and what doesn't. Good luck.
