Battery changed : bluetooth ok but No more wifi : 13.0 ((null))

Hello,

i have just changed my battery with the battery kit, long process but it works. I forgot one screw somewhere, and this little piece I don’t know where it was :

Anyway, after rebooting I realised wifi icon was always opened, saying “wifi connected'“. Even I switched it off. I thought would be bad for the new battery just installed. So I clean re-installed Catalina. And no more wifi icon. and this statut in system report :

  CoreWLAN : 13.0 ((null))

  CoreWLANKit : 13.0 ((null))

  Menu Extra  : 13.0 ((null))

  Informations système : 12.0 (1500)

  Famille IO80211 : 12.0 (1200.12.2)

  Diagnostic : 1.0 (910)

  Utilitaire AirPort : Non installé

i unplugged the airport board, the little connectors, but still no icon. Here picture of the board :

I tried the diagnostic option (D key) but of course not working (thanks apple). I have reset SMC and NVRAM.

I search and find some people had issue with wifi after Catalina update : https://apple.stackexchange.com/question...

I tried but not working. Even tried Hackintool ah ah won’t work.

I reinstalled Catalina from recover, but still no icon.

is there a way to test separately board, cable, antenna?

By the way : from the three little cables, rich one is the wifi guy?

I was so proud to change the battery, now really frustrated :)

But if you have any clue :)

Thanks for reading!

In the rebuilding process I lost the ZIF microphone plastic stuff :

hard to re place it again without a microscope :) but it works, the fan is keeping it in place.

I have'n’t notice anything wrong with cable and connexion. So I decided to boot from a backup :

I have the wifi icon, and wifi in network preference, but impossible to find a network, and still  this CoreWLAN : 13.0 ((null))

(By the way is someone knowing what Diagnostic :1.0 (910) means? )

So voilà. Before giving up I wonder :

Is the bluetooth (wich is ok) using the antenna? if this is not the antenna, is it the airport board? If not the board, is it one of the connector? And wich one?

To bad the apple online diagnostic doesn’t work

.

Thanks fo your time people.

First lets identify the forgotten part! Its one of the hinge covers which are mounted at each side of the display as seen in Step 10 here: Remplacement de l'écran complet du MacBook Pro 15" Retina mi-2012

I’m suspecting one of the cables going though the hinge got pinched which is why your BT/WiFi is messed up. Note the four cables coming from the hinge.
