Hi, I am trying to fix my iMac which stopped working. I opened it, when I press Power button all 4 green lights turn on, and one of the parts starts burning:
Is it something that can be fixed?

You have a short within the logic board! The sparks are around a Via which is a connection between different layers.
At this point you’ll need to find someone with deep skills to fix this or just replace the logic board Changement carte mère iMac Intel 21,5" EMC 2544

@earmand all of those connections and points are part of your backlight circuitry. The component right next to it is C9712.
Disconnect your LCD and check to see if that makes a difference. You also want to consider posting some really good pictures of your logic board with your question. Maybe we can find something obvious. Ajout d'images à une question existante
