Recover photos from smashed iPhone XS. Max

My phone is rather smashed, but the internal components look fine at surface level. I’m trying to get the photos off of my phone. I have repaired many other iPhone parts over the years, but this is over my head. I can no longer plug it in , turn it on, etc. there is no home button anymore. Is it possible to remove the logic board and put in in a different phone in order to recover my photos? If this requires a professional, any recommendations on how to go about finding a reputable one? I have never hired one before. Thank you in advance!

@melissahaacker consider just replacing the parts that are smashed. There are all kinds of guides out there that can help you with that iPhone XS Max . If that will not work for you consider sending it to experts in data recovery. We have a few on here but it will depend on where in the world you are. Check with @refectio @imicrosoldering @ipadrehab and others. See if they can assist you
