Xbox One X freezes on physical games

I purchased an Xbox One X off of eBay to repair and it has a problem I have never run into before. All physical games freezes the consoles video and audio while it is playing the game. So for example, if I boot up lego star wars, it will immediately freeze on the opening star wars credits and display the credits and get stuck on the sound bite. However, all games I download to play seem to be working just fine and have not frozen. Could this potentially be a disc drive issue? Or any ideas on this? Thanks
