Battery Sudden Quick Fail

Replaced last year, calibrated, worked fine.

Left for work yesterday, it was sleeping. Returned to find 0% battery, won’t charge.

Checked power and reset SMC. Will only run on adapter - slow, spotty, useless.

Did the battery fail - or is there something I can check internally?
