I have an iBook g4 1.33ghz osx 10.5 I bought a new battery about two weeks ago and now it won't charge and seems to be dead. Also my optical drive is not working I put in a cd and I it doesn't load and no drive is present in my system profiler please help thank you

Download and run Coconut Battery to get an idea of what is going on with the battery. http://www.coconut-flavour.com/
The optical drive is another question but sounds like it needs to be replaced.

even if i just bought the battery not that long ago it has warranty and i just dont want to ruin another battery
