How do I remove the case from a Compaq Presario sr1610nx?

I am trying to remove the hard drive from an old Compaq Presario SR1610NX. I have removed the side casing and the screws holding the disk drive to its disk caddy. Also all the cables attached to it. However I still can’t remove it. I am trying to remove the front panel in order to get at the disk caddy but can’t quite get it off. What am I doing wrong?

I appreciate your help.

Hi,

Here are some images from the upgrading and servicing guide for the desktop, that shows how to remove the drives from the case.

Block Image

(hover cursor over image and then click on the + symbol. When the image opens click on it again to enlarge for better viewing)
