hi i have an ipod touch 4g 8gb that i can sync with tunes and everything but the problem is that y can see the apps or folders or pics because the backlight is off and i just can see the lights with an external light o lamp can i fix this with just change the lcd ? or buying and lcd assambly and he dont have a water damage thanks.

Have you checked the brightness in the settings. if checked then try to restart the iPod sometimes happen. if still same then it could be your Lcd. may be or in logic board . first try these after that change you lcd it will 99% solve your problem.

so i replace the screen and the digitizer and is fully funcional thanks
