YLOD with no fan after thermal paste substitution

Hello everybody! I had the fat 60gb ps3 for nearly a decade now, It was starting to collect dust inside and it was getting extremely hot from just playing ps1 games, so I decided to replace the thermal paste with Artic Silver compound. I think I did all the steps correctly: cleaning both the processors using the two-steps solutions that came with the thermal paste. Sadly when I reassembled the ps3 I got a YLOD and Im so sad about it. The ps3 fan would not even start, the YLOD occurs as soon as touch the power button, any suggestions? Thanks
