Ear cups cracked near the hinge, is it possible to order replacement?

After a year of use both earcups cracked on the hinge connector, is it possible to get a hold of those or will I have better luck modelling and printing my own parts?

I would recommend contacting the manufacturer, maybe they can give you spare parts to fix the earcups, or you could try printing the parts.

I did this last week - i have the same problem if not more severe of a break. The only advise they gave was to find a repair group as they could not help. They didn't provide spare parts, or even a 3D file to self print a fix.

My experience with support from Steel Series has been useless. This break is so common with these headsets and they don't provide any help with they eventually give over.

Since the break is common, could they perhaps replace the headset or give you a refund?

Steelseries was contacted for this issue and the refused to provide documentation on the installation/deconstruction of the headset to perform repairs. They also refused to sell replacement parts, and do not have a repair solution for people that have this issue. I had to repair this myself by opening it up and buying a plastic repair kit. I put a bunch of plastic in the area that was broken and I cut what I thought was just a bracket that was in the way of it closing and now I have no bluetooth connection on it. I guess what I cut was the Bluetooth antennae but I can't find any materials on if this is the case, or if there is just a bad connection somewhere. I came here to see if there was something that could be done, but I don't see any solutions.

Since the manufacturer refused to sell replacement parts, and has no repair solution. The best thing I could suggest is to perhaps print your own parts for the repair, or find a similar cheap pair of headphones and see if you could use that pair of headphones parts to fix it.

@jvancleef (Jon Van Cleef) since you accidently cut the Bluetooth antenna while using a plastic repair kit, maybe you could also cut and paste different parts of a cheap headphone to fix your headphone antenna.

I am looking to design a workable replacement for this component then I will gladly share the STL with whoever wants it. It won't be elegant but I will be sure it works

I can't find the contact details for support. Locked behind a wall of FAQs now.

Lucky your in warranty.

@tobingj Navigate to the "Support" section of their official website, an instant answer bot will appear on the right side of your screen, select "Troubleshoot My Product or Software" and compile the required fields. Your request will be sent to the support staff

Same, here. After exactly 11 months the right cup failed. Just sent them an email, hopefully they will replace this as it’s still under warranty.
