my digitizer mounting frame is damaged, because i dropped it. :-(
It is possible to change the digitizer mounting frame?

It is possible but it is glued to the digitizer, the couple of times I have done it I have just patiently separated them with a very thin spatula, might be easier if you have a heat gun [set to low ;]]

Are there any videos or step by step guides on this kind of repair? I have a few nicks and one or 2 chips on the mounting frame, but not the screen itself and I was looking to repair it myself if possible, but even in a complete teardown there is little info on replacing that part.
I much prefer my phone without a bumper to have to cover the unsightly chips/dents etc!
Any help is appreciated.
