I have replaced the screen with two new screens and both screen work perfectly except for the touch screen element doesn’t work - is there a connection i am missing or a software reset option that can resolve this?

Did you get your replacement screen from iFixit or somewhere else? If you are fine using the tablet without using the touchscreen do the following:

further to this - i have checked everything inside the unit and it all seems fine so can't see why only the touch screen isn't working. which connection on the device is related to to the touch screen so i can ensure it is seated correctly.

just wanted to add a comment in a hope that this would bring it up the response table - i'm still having this issue and the tablet is now siting redundant until i can rectify this issue
