replaced battery, charges correctly, but after a while crashes compute
laptop crashes after being on for some period unexpectedly. Battery was replaced, charged as suggested and works fine, but does crash as before when the battery was getting weak. Not sure if there is a software glitch that I can’t find … very annoying

Run the onboard diagnostics to see if something pop's. Restart your system and press the D key. Did you get any errors? If you did what where they.
I would also install this gem of an app! CoconutBattery take a snapshot of the apps main window and post it here for us to see Ajout d'images à une question existante
