Touch ID sensor repair

I bought a 2017 MacBook Pro 13 inch touch bar “for parts/repair” and it didn’t come with a logic board (shocker) so I ordered a new one online however it didn’t come with a Touch ID so my question is can I re pair the existing Touch ID with the new logic board? Is that possible?

Options

Sadly no, you need the TouchID button that was mated for life with that logic board.

You likely got a parts board by mistake.
