Why does red colour come on black parts of monitor?

All dark parts of screen turn red for some odd reason.

What is the model number of the desktop?

Have you tried using a different monitor to prove whether the problem is in the monitor or not? If the desktop has a HDMI video output, a TV can be used as a monitor.
