i cant tell what phone it is i just know its an lg stylo and it looks to be this one but when i charge it. it only turns black and vibrates over and over again every like two seconds. it shows the red led light and every once and a while when i try and turn it on the top of the screen will flash grey then turn completely black and continue to vibrate

Most commonly caused by a bad display. Now to assist you further with this you will absolutely need to know what model your phone it. There is most likely a sticker with the serial number, in the battery compartment but it may require a bit of work to remove the back cover.
@tangentzebra927 this video will work for the repair. For the replacement display, do an online search. The costs will vary but looks like USD $20- USD $30 should get you a replacement.
