Fan running hard all of the time, what is wrong?

I am getting a similar error. I spilled water on my early 2015 MacBook Air. I get AHT issues PFM006 and PPN001. TG Pro tells me all the temperature sensors are reporting green temps, but the hard drive and power supply sensors may not be working properly. Also, the exhaust fan is always at full speed. How do I narrow down what is wrong?

At this point you’ll need to take the logic board out as the SMC logic is on the other side. I’m suspecting the spill made its way onto the chips input lines so its getting a spurious error. Follow this guide Remplacement de la carte mère du MacBook Air 13" début 2015 and inspect the area around the SMC chip marked in dark blue in this image.

Use some 95% or better isopropyl alcohol and a soft toothbrush to lightly scrub any liquid stains you see and rinse the area down to get the stuff off the board, use a can of can’ed air to push out any remaining moisture.

I took it out and found a lot of dust, but didn't see any liquid stains or anything that made it look like liquid had been in there. I cleaned off the dust and scrubbed in the area around the SMC chip with isopropyl alcohol, but the problem persists. Is there anything else I can do?

@shanefk - Time to replace the fan MacBook Air 13" (Late 2010-2017) Fan, maybe the tachometer is messing things up. Otherwise, the logic board will need service by someone with deeper skills to troubleshoot locally.
