Changed my optical drive and nothing happened

basically, I have a ps4 model cuh-1116a and its optical drive model is BDP-025
I ordered a replacement from amazon which arrived as BDP-020 But from what I understood from the forums, BDP-020 & BDP-020 are interchangeable as long as you switch the daughterboard around it’ll work, and that’s my problem, it didn’t work.

any suggestions?

So you put the daughterboard into the new drive and it didn't work?

Yes, I did do that and also tried rebuilding the database.

nothing worked, I filed for a refund for now, and I have a whole month to figure out a solution.
