will it work in australia?
if i were to buy the replacement display assembly for an iphone 4 either GSM or CDMA would it work in australia?

IF it worked in Australia with the old display and the GSM or CDMA work on this machine then it should work in Australia with the new screen. You might want to work on your logic for this question. What does Australia have to do with it? Are the iPhone capabilities different in Australia?

Maybe because there's a verizon version and a gsm version he thinks he needs a certain part, unfortunately used wrong term? Maybe Oz only market a gsm? Too much jargon in the world and not enough plain English! Ring up telstra/optus and ask which phone you were sold would be easier... Think verizon is American so I'd guess gsm for Oz.
