Maytag won’t go into Wash cycle

I have a 2 year old Maytag Dishwasher MDB4949SHB0 that fills with water, but then just sits there. It never goes into wash cycle. Pressing the Cancel button allows the unit to drain just fine. Service Diagnostics gives codes of 6-4 and 6-1. I replaced the entire motor/sump kit (WPW10591570) after a service tech diagnosed it as the problem. It didn’t correct the issue. Still doing the same thing and giving the same codes when running diagnostic mode. I’ve checked the inlet valve and cleaned it (it wasn’t clogged or really even dirty at all). I checked to make sure I had adequate water/pressure from the supply line itself by running it into a bucket. That’s definitely not the problem. The float inside the unit seems to move freely and I can hear a faint click when I move it up and down. No debris under or around it. I’m on public water and run a water softener, so sediment etc. shouldn’t be a concern

The service tech called Maytag and they are sending out a new inlet valve and float switch. But if I’m honest, I’m not convinced either of those are the issue. Almost SEEMS like a problem with the control board or a relay or electrical problem of some sort between the board and the wash motor. But you would think it would throw codes for that when you run diagnostics. I’m stumped and getting really frustrated with this thing

Anyone have any other thoughts?
