I can't install Lion. Graphics card is too old. Can this be fixed?

Options

Your machine has a Core Duo processor, and Lion requires a Core 2 Duo processor. There are software hacks which will allow it, but there's a reason a Core 2 Duo is in the system requirements, and it's going to be very slow without one. Your board is replaceable, but you cannot upgrade components on it. Here's a video I made which will give you a good idea as far as what board you can replace yours with:

Thanks, glad you like it! I made it after having to sort through and figure out about 500 random A1181 boards, and realizing that there seemed to be no comprehensive guide to understanding all the models and their differences.

thank you rdklinc, for your answer. Unfortunately I can't watch youtube anymore in my G5, because I don't have a Flash Player and Adobe just let you download it for Intel machines only. It really sucks. Another bully practice from big corporations. They force you to buy, buy, buy and buy.
