Router won't turn on
The guide light comes on so I know it’s getting power

Power light emit doesn’t mean the rigid router is fine. Might be a possible coil of the router damage and it won’t rotate to grind the surface. It is hard to repair it at home. My suggestion bring it to the store from where you did buy it.
