Xbox internal power supply maybe be damaged?

anytime you google something you get the simple answer but my problem isn’t they always talk about the extrnal power supply.

my xbox one broke a year ago, my pc had issues that made it un usable at the time so i decied to bring out my xbox one to play some games. i plugged everything in and turned it on, it didn’t even get past the logo screen before turning off. ofc i assume it was the power supply so i get my dad’s power supply he had just bought a series s and had no need for it. i plugged it in and my xbox still didn’t turn back on.

i assume there was some power surge and the internal power supply was damaged?

is this true could other parts have also been damaged, should i even try buying a new power supply
