unlock, change user name & password

Apex 7" internet tablet with Android operating system manufactured in 2013. Also identified by manufacturing number AP-7S118.

misplaced tablet & haven’t used for sometime. forgot user name & password. how do I unlock & reset both?

What operating system are you using?

Options

Volume Up + Home + Power, then choose "Factory Reset". If it is Goggle Locked you will need the password to set it up again.
