I paired to cronuszen and now I can't unpair it to my xbox console

Why can't i use my xbox one controller after I paired it using the cronus zen. I didn't like the zen so I went to use it again for regular wireless on my xbox but the reset and pairing won't work. It has rendered my controller useless.
