LVDS display cable it connects from the back of the display to the logic board. Review this guide Step 7 for the logic board side Remplacement de l'écran de l'iMac Intel 27" EMC 2429
It looks like you snapped the connector tang from the image. This may need more than the cable as you may have also damaged the logic board connector as well.

The actual cord is damaged. Where could I find one of those?
@superfixer334 - You'll need to do a goggle search for possible sources, plug this into your Web browser: Apple 922-9848
Then check web sites history as many are scams or sites which don't remove old offerings.
Use a prepaid credit card or one that offers buyer protection as you run the risk of your bank account raided! Play it safe.
