Cool, glad you got it fixed! Congratulations.

Which screws did you need to take out in order to get inside? I've taken out two screws underneath the foam pad, but not the other four as they look like they are holding the speaker. Do you need to also remove the two allen screws behind the panel?

par

You need to remove a total of six small Philips screws. The speaker-panel of the headset then just lifts out, no clips or tricks. Four do anchor the speaker itself, but they also hold the front and back together.

I just opened up my G935s and repaired the main switch. It apparently got dust, oils, or some other contaminant inside. Six small screws to lift the panel out of the cup, be careful with the speaker diaphragm wire, it's soldered on both ends. Carefully unfasten the clip that holds the C-shaped daughter board to the smaller LED light one, and speaker+C board should lift out. Carefully remove the metal cover on the switch, it's fastened like a flat circlip, once you remove that, the black plastic switch lifts out of the switch housing. Clean contacts well in switch body and switch module with isopropyl, reinstall without getting any grease or dust in there. The flat circlip snaps back in place, I needed a small screwdriver to poke the ends into place/seat them. Then just same steps in reverse to reassemble. Be careful getting the C board back into place, it's fiddly, but can be done without force.

This needs to be more visible on the internet as a whole. I just did the same repair, on two G935's (my original and the replacement from Logi). I would like to add one thing, the volume wheel can be hard to get out and there's another screw next to it that you can remove to make getting it out easier. I ended up using isopropyl alcohol and an a Q tip, followed by light scraping with a tiny flat head, then more IPA to get the gunk out. There must be junk in them from the factor b/c it's pretty well sealed into the headset, which makes dust unlikely.

This comment also helped me out! Cheers dude!

Only had them a month before ran into weird issues where left channel wouldn't start sometimes. Cleaning the switch fixed it and the hint about the volume wheel and screw was perfect!

@James Kawagoe just like @Joel Simpson said. the volume wheel trick was very helpfull and thanks for the detailed tutorial @forge64 worked like a charm.

the on/off switch for mine came loose from the factory. i have to play with the switch almost everyday to get both sides of the headphones to work.

There IS a guide for replacing the battery here that will show you how to get into it. Good Luck.

It's just a battery, it's not possible to fix the switch kike that.

Yes, but for most folks the primary hurdle is knowing how to get in. I know of no video or guide for your exact model, BUT this video should do the job, it looks to be the same switch. Maybe you could create a guide for your model?

Otherwise you can wait for someone else to give you a possibly better answer, there may well be such.
