Why wont my dsi power on?

I recently purchased a “junk” dsi from a local shop, they couldn’t get the console to charge, power on, or show Any sighs of life at all. I noticed one of the pins in the charging port was bent, so I bent it back into place and now when it is plugged in, it shows a solid orange light. But when unplugged all signs of life go bye bye. Doesn’t turn on even with the cord in, the top screen appears to be damaged to some extent and also the console has sustained water damage. Is there any way I can get it working? 🤔
