ps4 overheating randomly at any time!

Hey i have been using this par for about 6 years now and it has worked flawlessly for me for all these years

Suddenly 2 days back I was playing a game in the morning and turned it off then when I came back at night and turned it on it was about 2 minutes into the game and i recieved a message saying your par is too hot and it shuts down

This happened 2 times then again for the third time i turned it on then it worked absolutely fine that night

Again the same problem happend the next day

It randomly overheats and then automatically gets fixed

I tried opening up the ps4 but my psu screw is stripped badly so i am not able to open it up

I checked the fan and it is working as it should

I also reinstalled the entire system software but that did not seem to have solved the problem

I even tried turning it on with the top cover off and it being upside down but that did not work too

Pls help me on this

could be a build up of dust or dried out thermal paste

Dust is out of the picture as i cleaned everything but i need a solution for the stripped psu screw it is not letting me reach the heatsink as it is not opening up by any methods pls any solutions for that?

Yh it was then i researched some on the internet and got it out somehow but it was so stripped that it took me almost an hour to remove but i removed it successfully now inside it was literally very clean as compared to the other 6 year old ps4s i have seen like the heatsink literally had just a small pinch of dust accumulation but the thermal paste was a little off like some of the processor part did not cover the thermal paste and it was pretty dry so i removed that and have ordered new thermal paste for the same but i wanted to ask that even if the thermal paste does not work then what could go wrong?
