logic board power button pin connector repair?

Hi guys recently droped my s21 Ultra phone in salt water... phone was constantly powering on and off untill the battery died.. The battery is toast and ended up expanding, so i opened it up to replace the battery but the salt had corroded the "power on button" connector on the logic board. (it totally fell off the board when i opened it up)

is it possible to repair/replace the pin connector on the logic board its self?

The phone says its charging with the new battery but i have no way to connect the power on button to the logic board so i also have no way to turn it on.
Below are some photos for refrence

in the bag is the connector that fell off and the area that is tarnished is where the connector was....
i know it doesnt look good but it should clean up alright with some isopropyl

Hi

Yes you can replace that connector aslong as there are no ripped pads(as they would need fixing beforehand)

Unless you have good soldering experience I would have it seen to by a reputable independent repair shop as soldering connectors isn’t easy

However it’s not impossible if you know what you are doing

If you want to do it your self you would need a hot air rework station and some low melt solder

If you are going to do it and need any advice just ask anyone here:-)

Hopefully this helps

Thanks:-)

Hi, thank you so much for your reply, i really appreciate it!

I think the pads have totally corroded off the board, it seems quite flat just by touch and looking by eye, i will have to take it to a professional as micro work is beyond my skill set. hopefully it is still repairable
