Door won't latch
Whirlpool model WDTA50SAHZ0 dishwasher door won't latch!

If it is like mine, it has a metal square piece on the unit and a slot receptacle at the top of the door.
You are going to have to remove the door panel to get at it and figure out why it isn't securing the latch.
