How to change automatic transmission solenoid?
My sonata was stuck in park and i learned how to use the shiftlock release to manually change from PRND. I am now ready to replace the solenoid as i have checked all fuses etc. I can’t find any videos or articles explaining how to replace it.

Hi Tyler,
Just to verify, before you tear stuff apart, you've checked that the brake light switch is working properly? Had someone at the back of the car verify that the brake lights come on when you step on the brake, yes?
Edit: Just to clarify, the brake light activates the shift lock solenoid so that you have to have your foot on the brake to take it out of park. If your brake light switch isn't working, it won't activate the shift lock solenoid and you won't be able to get it out of park without using the override.
