Lost my charger, can I use a USB Cable until my new one gets here. If "yes " What type and what port.

Hi Darlene,
Nope, sorry that's not going to work. Laptops are not set up to take in charge for the battery through the USB ports; those are output only. The only place you can put power into the laptop is the charging port, so I'm afraid your only option is to wait till the replacement charger arrives.
