Screws with damaged heads inside Apple products (need statistics)

Hello iFixit team!

I have my "old but gold" Apple MBP mid 2015 and, as you probably know, this model has an issue with bloating batteries. So I opened bottom cover, to clean the dust and check the battery and noticed that one of these two screws has damaged head (see screenshot). Also one of the fan screws (marked red) is missing at all. Along with that, this Mac was purchased as new, sealed, unopened, non-refurbished etc.

So my question is, given your extensive experience, is it possible that screw was damaged on the Apple Factory? Or this is 100% poor quality repair \ battery replacement by the local seller where the Mac was purchased?

Looking forward for you answer!

And thank you for the all the work you're doing!

While I have seen a few buggered up screws. It would be more likely from someone else than Apple. As far as a MIA screw I have to say that is more probable from Apple, even still more likely someone else.
