chantell it should work like this:

"- Open i-tunes on your computer that you sync it to

- Plug in your phone to the computer

- open "Address book" window's address book program. Its under start-programs-accessories

- Back to iTunes, click on the phone icon on the left

- Click on the Info, and under "Contacts" (the first one) check "sync contacts from" and then pick "Windows address book" from the drop down menu

- Click all contacts

- Then at the bottom right of iTunes, click "Sync" When asked to Merge or Replace. Make sure you select MERGE or it will delete your contacts on the phone."

Once you do your repair, a restore should replace that info from the computer. Just make sure you keep the same computer to sync, and do not sync another iPhone/iPod on it. It might just erase the info :-) Hope this helps, good luck.

chantell, I am using Windows XP, so it may be a different for you. Anytime I plug my iPhone in, a dialog window opens and shows the Apple iPhone as a camera. Here I select Microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizard to move my pictures from my iPhone and move them to my computer. Of course, you also save those when you backup your iPhone through iTunes. Just remember to turn SYNC on. When in iTunes and with your phone plugged in, you should see it on the left pane. Click on your phone's name and the summary page should open. Check the tabs on the tops, one says "photos" click on it and set the sync options the way you would like them. Remember, just like with your contacts, if you sync another phone or iDevice on this computer, you may lose your backup. I hope this helps. Good Luck

Do you have ever backed up your data in iTunes or iCloud before? If you do, then you can use FonePaw iPhone Data Recovery to scan those backups and take a preview of the found messages, after that you can save them on your computer.
