Screen isn't working after replacing it

Honor 8x JSN-L21

I was doing a LDC swap and from what I've read online it seems I didn't unplug the battery before disconnecting the LDC connector.
I was in a rush to return the blow dryer I borrowed and skipped that step.

I tried plugging in both the new and the old screen but both wouldn't show anything.

Does anyone know what the damage could be and if it's repairable?

My phone has the screen completely taken off and my alarm is going off on it and it's waking up all my roommates.
