Back Adhesive proper installation

The adhesive goes on the chassis. With the back off, make sure all remaining connectors are seated so the entire surface is flat, with nothing like the battery connector sticking up. Check the edges of the adhesive sheet and make sure the indentations and shapes match where you're trying to sit it on the frame; everything should match up, or you might have it reversed.

Once you're confident on which way it goes on, peel off the protective layer on the rear side and carefully place it into the frame. If your alignment is off, you may well end up with a sticky mess if you try and lift it up again to reseat it in a different position, so try your best to get it lined up right the first time.

Set it down in place, then go around the edges with a plastic spudger and press the edges firmly into place on the chassis. Once it's seated well, you can take off the top layer. On your phone if I recall correctly you'll now need to connect the fingerprint sensor so do that next. If there's any protective sheets left on, remove them now and carefully seat the rear cover in place. I typically put some weight on it and leave it there for an hour or so to seat everything firmly.
