The TV will not turn on.

I’m having the same problem. Here is a picture of the power board.

It looks like the fuse is a fixed fuse and can’t be changed. Is this the case?

It is an older TV and hasn’t been used in a while.

Llora Jones that is a soldered fuse. Don't just change it for the sake of changing it. Check it with a meter for continuity. If it tests good it is not the fuse. IF you do have to change it change it with teh exact model. The type of fuse and the ratings are silk screened on the board just above the fuse

Hi Lora,

Well, yes and no. It can indeed be changed, but it requires soldering to do so.

Of course they had to put that paper inside the glass tube so you can't just visually examine the fuse to see if it's blown either; you'd need an ohmmeter or continuity tester to be able to tell if it's still good or not.

$0.10 worth of extra parts and they could have added a fuse holder making soldering unnecessary, sigh.
