How do I fix my phone that wouldn't turn on?

I was on my phone when it randomly shut down, it was shut off, but I could still hear my notifications, after a few minutes it completely turned off. I forced restart it and it hasn't turned on but the bottom half of my phone has started heating. What do I do to fix this?

Options

Sounds like there's a short somewhere. Excess heat can be a sign of a short. I know you said the bottom half gets hot, but where exactly is it getting hot?
