@oldturkey03 hey there I think you resolved an issue for me once before …

Yes you are correct on the model of the tv

Here is a video of the issue

The guy I got the TV from replaced the main board (component)… So I am thinking t-con or buffer

@flex4705 post some images or a short video with your question. Ajout d'images à une question existante This could be a T-con or a main board issue. If you have already removed the back cover from your TV, post some pictures of your boards with your question as well.

Just to verify, your TV is a Samsung UN75JU641DFXZA 75-inch 4K UHD TV

@flex4705 when you first turn your TV on it shows you the installed streaming channels etc. then it turns to the no signal screen?

Did you try all the other video inputs? Same issues? If you enter these keys into your remote, does it get you into the setup menu?

Info==>Menu==>Mute==>Power If so, try a reset.

I can get into the setup menu and I have not tried OTA signal. I do have the Tv connected to wifi… I will provide some images and videos. I can see some horizontal lines and some green hues …

I will try a rest if I can find it… I don’t have the remote but able to maneuver with button on tv through menu.

Well @oldturkey03 and @jellybeanman i was setting up to test all the LEDs so removing screen and diffuser and once I got the frame off it turned out the screen has a fraction of a chip on the corner which severed part of electronic communication ribbon embedded in the glass. I then noticed paint on the frame of the corner where the chip was discovered. The movers must have banged this Tv pretty hard on the sheet rock or something to chip the corner glass of the screen.

I will say the guys at shop jimmy said it’s likely a problem with the screen itself and too costly to repair. So yep it’s garbage…

Thanks

@flex4705 sorry to hear that the damage is that severe. Thanks for coming back and letting us know what the outcome was. Discard of the LCD properly and sell the boards on ebay. At least you may recover a few $$.

Based on the information provided, it seems that you are experiencing an issue with your television displaying a gray ghost image bar on the right side of the screen after the initial TV program onboard options banner disappears. Here are a few suggestions that you could try to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Check the HDMI cable: It's possible that the HDMI cable connecting your television to your device may be faulty or not properly connected. Try unplugging and replugging the cable to ensure that it is properly seated. You could also try using a different HDMI cable to see if that resolves the issue.
  2. Check the input source: Ensure that the correct input source is selected on your television. You can use the TV remote to switch between input sources and select the correct one for the device you are using.
  3. Check the device settings: If the issue only occurs with a specific device, try checking the settings on that device to ensure that it is outputting the correct resolution and format for your television.
  4. Reset the television: Try resetting your television to its default settings. This can sometimes help resolve software-related issues that may be causing the problem. You can usually find the reset option in the TV's menu.
  5. Contact the manufacturer: If none of the above steps work, it may be best to contact the manufacturer for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or arrange for a repair if necessary.

I hope these suggestions help resolve the issue with your television. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.
