I still have my iPad Pro 9.7". I far prefer it over my iPad mini 6. However, the battery will not hold a charge. Can I replace the battery, or better still, pay for a replacement? Thanks

You can follow the instructions of the Remplacement de la batterie de l'iPad Pro 9,7" but it isn’t an easy process by any stretch. Many shops will repair locally just check reviews.

Thanks. I'm capable technically, but this feels too tenuous for my old hands. I've asked a couple of local shops here in DC, but their prices are as much as a new iPad. Oh well.
I also have the same iPad Pro that I LOVE and am in the DC area.
You’re right, places in the DMV area for Apple repairs are total crooks and charge an arm and leg for simple repairs.
Two years or so ago, I went to a place called ITech Repairs. (Check them out on Yelp. They sometimes run promos/discounts there) They used to be in Fairfax but moved to Vienna/Tysons corner area. They had great pricing when I had to get my IPad battery replaced. I’ve also taken my IPhone for new batteries and also when I shattered the screen.
They’re really fast and got my iPad and iPhone fixed in a few hours, and they worked perfectly. The only thing that I thought was a little odd the first time I was when they were in Fairfax, they worked out of their house. But when I got there it made sense because both of the guys were going to George Mason. I don’t know what their latest location is like.
