I have a new screen, and the lead is too short
The lead from my new screen is too short, why would this be and how do i ammend

I had this problem. Make sure that you haven't kinked the cable when threading it through from the front to the rear.
I found that the ribbon had folded slightly.

you sure you have the right screen??? are you trying to go the wrong way over the logicboard?
