The screen flickers a lot and doesn't change brightness.

It also has a high pitched buzzing sound when the screen is flickering. I'm not sure what could be causing the problem. I updated drivers and it didn't go away. I thought it could be the screen itself but I'm not sure where the buzzing sound is coming from.

Well Screen flickering in Windows is usually caused by outdated display drivers. To update driver you'll need to start your PC in safe mode, uninstall your current display adapter, and then check for driver updates. Start your PC in safe mode and also check for any physical damages to hardware, software problems and bugs in specific applications.
