New device not working - plugged into 220v instead of 110v

Ninja speciality coffee maker CM401

So I bought the coffee machine from the US but brought it back and plugged it in. I was just adjusting the time settings when the circuit breaker tripped in my DB and I realised I plugged in a 110v device into a 220v power.

I got a step down converter but the device doesn’t turn on anymore.

The question: if I open the coffee maker will there be a fuse that I can replace or is my coffee maker fried for good?

Could be a fuse or perhaps a fuse and a MOV (Metal Oxide varistor - surge suppressor). Hopefully they did what they're supposed to and blew to protect the rest of the board.

Usually this type of problem is repairable.

You will have to disassemble the machine to gain access to the motherboard and then check what damage has occurred.

Look around the area where the power supply connects to the board.

Having a DMM (digital multimeter) will help, especially if the fuse is not the type to show that it has blown, so you will have to test it just to make sure in case it is something else.
